Colours are a central distinguishing feature in the brand presentation of Koenig & Bauer. In order to create a consistent brand image across all areas – from communication and labelling through to the products themselves – colours have been defined for different purposes.
The colours in communication
Colour values are defined for all media for print and digital applications. In addition to the full-tone colours, primary colours can be deployed via halftone in various predefined shades, e.g. for backgrounds or infographics.
The new brand image deploys uncoated paper for all media. Hence the CMYK uncoated colour codes must always be selected. Coated paper is only permitted in exceptional cases.
None of the colours or illustrations in the guidelines may be used as proofs. An exact replication can be guaranteed only via the respective colour code.
